13.1.02 - In a total Survivor showdown, professional soccer player Ethan Zohn wiped out fellow finalist, 56-year-old Kim Johnson with a 5-2 jury vote win. The quiet introvert from Massachusetts claimed the votes of Kelly, Lex, Tom, Teresa and Frank to score the one million dollar check, a new Chevy truck and the title of sole Survivor: Africa.
The 27-year-old vegetarian had planned to "win the whole thing" and steal all the challenges, but his plan was foiled by Lex, a hip, tattoed father of two, who dominated most of the challenges right up to the final episode when his winning streak was snatched by Survivor: Africa runner-up Kim. Ethan ended up flying under the radar and didn't ruffle many feathers, which served him well, as the boil-obsessed athlete never had a vote cast against him.
