Hmmm...the year has blown off in a strange start. It hasn't even been a week yet of 'proper' school, due to the Year 12 camp, but I can already tell, it's gonna be another one hell of a year. Still, I'm pretty excited and psyched about what the year has to offer me, not to mention schoolies, the tattoo and just getting out of such an awful system called 'high school'. I'll miss Redeemer heaps and heaps though I must admit. Anyway, I discovered ages ago, but recently realized the extreme problem of it -- it's my indecisive decision-making == But the thing is -- I REALLY like to keep my options wide open... Today we (12SH) had our first 'proper' English lesson. Ms Burroughs seems pretty cool and we have a whole new room - so it's a great way to begin the year of battling one of the toughest, but most important subjects in the curriculum.
Camp was okay....actually in the essence of it, the camp, when you stripped away everything and left only the camp to look at, it was actually a VERY EXCELLENT CAMP (especially since my first camp ever in Grade 4 when I was nine was held there). It was just some other factors that made the camp a lesser than less success. I think some people would agree with me on this one. Senior jerseys are totally cool though - though sometimes I can't bring myself to wear it!! --- oh well, it's only been less than 4 days of ownership so far, though me, Eleish, Dannii, Michael Still, Aaron, Peter and Steven DID wear it to Sunday Night Live last night!
SONG OF THE MOMENT - "Innocent" - Fuel, "Nothing Compares To You" - Sinead O'Connor, "King For A Day" - Fuel, "Whereever whenever" - Shakira, "Radio" - THe Corrs, "Superman" - Five for Fighting.
Date: Sunday 27th January 2002 - 7.05am
Hmmm....today is the big grand finale of the Australian Open for 2002. Yesterday was the women's final and Jennifer Capriati took out the honours again for the second time in a row (hmmm good sentence, I'll have to use it for the "Tennis" page!) Today it's between Marat Safin and some other guy - I think it's Jonas Bjorkman. But I don't know cos I didn't watch his semi. If it isn't, it's Jiri Novak. Oh well, it doesn't matter cos I'm going to miss it anyway. NOooooooooooooooooo. On Thursday, I woke up at 10.49am and I went straight to the TV to watch "Gilmore Girls", which I had missed the night before cos I was on the phone with my best friend and also the beginning of "She's All That" because I was on the phone to Mei. Anyway, all of a sudden I see this bandanna guy and it's like ohmigosh it's Clement. Anyhow it was the BEST match of the tournament. It was a men's doubles and they were all Frenchman. Clement and Boutter lost by a thread (2 games actually) in 5 sets to Santoro and Llodgen. A bird got killed by a ball that was served by Arnaud, but returned by Santoro.
It was a FANTASTIC MATCH. On Wednesday I think, I taped "Not Pretty Enough" (guitar acoustic) from Today Show and last night Kasey Chambers sung it live at the Golden Guitar Awards in Tamworth, so I have her on video singing it three times live. Also Friday (25) showed "This Is Elvis" and today I found the lyrics to "My Way", which is indeed, "the record shows, I took the blows, and did it my way!" Love it.
SONG OF THE MOMENT - "Not Pretty Enough" - Kasey Chambers, "We Three Kings" - Fuel, "My Way" - Elvis Presley, "(the Elvis Presley "I'm feelin' mighty fine, got the music on my radio...)" song. OVERPROTECTED!!!!!!! - Britney Spears - LOVIN' THE VIDEO@!!!!!!!
7.34. Life everyday for me is like Survivor. Trust nobody. Stay on your toes.

It's about a week until school begins again - ah the big 12. I'm pretty nervous of course, but I really can't wait. And it's not cos I'm bored or anything. These summer holidays have been pretty amazing! And very weird cos everything is changing so much. Oh guess what. In the Oz Open, the top 5 men's seeds are ALL GONE. and before the 3rd round too. Lleyton got beaten by Alberto Martin, an unseeded 51-ranked Spaniard. Oh and so sad...on Wednesday...they didn't even put this on TV!!!!....on Show Court 3....baby Arnaud got bombed out by some unseeded Argentinian called Guadio!!! Noooooo! I hardly saw him the whole oz open except for a few 2-second Channel Seven flash coverage that I didn't even get to tape!! This match was in the second round - which means Clement got further than Lleyton (world number 1) in the tournament. Oh well....I still have the interview with Arnaud and Razzano after they beat Belgium in the mixed doubles.....he was so funny!..."Like a what???"...hehehe:) Anyway, out of the men's, Agassi's got an injury, Clement, Roddick (no!), Lleyton, Kuerten, Kafelnikov, Grosjean (no!), have all bombed out in the first 2 rounds. It's so weird, all these nobodies are taking over!!!! hehehe j/k. The highest ranked guy still in the tournament is Brit Tim Henman...which is really great, cos I don't like him!! He beat out Rusedski, a fellow Brit on Friday night..noo...anyway....pick to win - anybody's game...Last night, Sampras (with wife Bridgette cheering in the stands), narrowing beated Frenchman Nicolas Escude (nooo!!!!) in a 5 set marathon. No! I want France to take out the Oz Open this year...but with Grosjean, Clement, Golmard and now Escude gone, I'm not sure if there's anybody left to carry that blue-white and red flag to the finish line!
SONG OF THE MOMENT - "I Wish You Were Here" - Incubus (extreme radioplay!)
Date: Sunday 13th January 2002 - 7.35am
ahhhhhhh!!!!ohmigosh THIS IS MYWEEK!!!!!!
ETHAN WON SURVIVOR LAST NIGHT - WAY TO GO ETHAN!!! AND then i got up extra early this morning to go on the net and GUESS WHAT???? ROB AND BRENNAN WON THE AMAZING RACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT GET'S BETTER - TOMORROW IS THE FIRST DAY OF THE AUSTRALIAN OPEN - HELLO BABY ARNAUD CLEMENT!!! AHHHH..... i made a survivor and reality television pages today... you can find the links on the homepage!
song of the moment - survivor theme song, singing the blues, 6th avenue heartache, tired
Date: Friday 11th January 2002 - 7.53am
I just realised something - in the previous entry, I meant to write "plaque" as in the wall hanging, not "plague"!!!!!
TV UPDATE: Survivor 3 - final episode is on this saturday (wohoo) - 3 hours of pure reality bliss! Teresa was voted off and damn, Lex got immunity again! I predict Ethan to win. Lex will (obviously) win immunity. in the first tribal council of the final - Kim Johnson, Ethan, Big Tom and Lex are left. Kim will probably get the boot - although it's possible that Big Tom might, because he is apparently backstabbing Lex and Lex threatened to "cut his throat" in the last episode! So it'll probably be Kim anyway, but just a touch of a chance of probability that it may be Big Tom. anyway, in the next one, Tom'll be ejected cos of the whole Tom/Lex thing and the final will be Ethan and Lex. If it ends up this way, it'll probably/more than likely be Lex that will be runner up and Ethan that'll be second cos - the Jury mostly hate Lex...let's predict...
Kelly - *ETHAN* - will vote for Ethan - hates Lex cos he voted her off for something she didn't do (vote for him)
Brandon - *LEX*/ethan - probably vote for Lex, but possibly Ethan.
Frank - *ETHAN* - Lex turned down an alliance with him.
Kim Powers - *ETHAN* - didn't really like Lex either. Wanted to vote him off heaps of times.
Teresa - *ETHAN* - most likely Ethan.
.....
Kim Johnson - *ETHAN* - she's pretty close friends with him.
Big Tom - *ETHAN*/*LEX* - could go either way depending on his ejection. He feels like he owes Lex big time for choosing him to come along on his Safari reward challenge and "experience of a lifetime" trip. On the other hand, he and Ethan are best mates in the outback.
However it ends, the person winning will deserve it. And Ethan has not got a vote yet!!! way to go! It should be a good - great - final episode night! Looking forward to the reunion!
The Amazing Race - STILL don't know who won. Michael Still and Steven Francis watch it too, and they don't know who won. I think I'm going to kill myself.
C'mon Rob and Brennnan (the lawyers). Steven and Michael call Team Guido an awful name (in good fun), but I've just decided against revealing....
Anyway, I haven't really been up to that much. I'm totally gearing up for the 2002 Australian Open though - I can't wait. Right now though, the Adidas International is being held in Sydney. Last night was a totally fantastic kickass match between Hyung-Taik Lee of Korea and United States' Andy Roddick. Roddick took out the match, but it such a good match and really entertaining and the crowd was absolutely wild. They were supporting Lee big time and booed at Andy about 50 billion times cos he chucked a bit of a frustrated spaz at one point. It was funny, but a bit harsh cos we're all guilty of doing that at some point in our lives. The score was to Roddick 6-7, 6-3, 6-4. A VERY CLOSE MATCH.
I sort of like Roddick, he seems to have a bit of a temper, but he's like the Tennis Rebel or something. Bad boy of the men's tennis tour. He's young too - only 19. Oh yeah.
Song of the moment - "Radio" - The Corrs, "Breathless" - The Corrs, "Get This Party Started" - Pink, "Anything I Do (I Do It For You)" - Bryan Adams.
Date: Thursday 3rd January 2002 - 8.04pm
Ah, the new year is here. Today I didn't really do anything. I talked on the phone with Sokim in the morning.
And then I got this major 'thing' for Joaquin Phoenix and I was cutting out his picture out of magazines and stuff. I even made a page for him this morning! (Click here. He's just so incredible and talented and inspiring! Plus he isn't too bad either. I know I have this pic of him with Liv Tyler in an old TV HITS somewhere, but I just can't find it!! Also, I watched the HOPMAN CUP in the afternoon. it's being held in Perth and GUESS WHAT??? ARNAUD CLEMENT is back and kicking ass!!! He has this fab new hairdo also. I also made a page for him! Click here for Clement!
On other news of Reality Television - After Brandon, Frank and Kim Powers were voted off. I still have a thing for Brandon too! He came to the last tribal council (jury) wearing a blue sarong that was pretty hip and all. The last episode of Survivor 3 was pretty cool cos they had my favourite thing ever - Videos From Home - it was so cool. And Ethan used a curling iron on his hair before prom!
Oh, I just realised I forgot to mention in the last couple of entries that I went to Sydney for Christmas week. It was pretty good. I really like it there. Except for the whole bushfire thing. They have really flat roads out there. We went out like every night and took the trains heaps. And it's really weird there cos you buy tickets that have a barcode-y scanner type thing on there and you have to scan your way through the gates. At first I was like, "what the...?", but then I got the hang of it and totally got a kick of putting it in the slot and then taking it out. (So much so that it even got "ticket captured" once!:). OH, oh, oh! I just thought of something! All Sydney HUNGRY JACK'S restaurants have like, Elvis Presley, (Marilyn Monroe, James Dean) type of plagues, framed pictures and car license plates all over them and jukeboxes and stuff. It was really cool and their sitting booths were all 50/60s styled black and white checked and red type design. It was so cool! On my last day (Saturday), we went to Australia's Wonderland - or whatever it's called. It was pretty good. It isn't as good as Dreamworld, but it has the most KILLER rollercoasters. The Demon is pretty good and so is the Bush Beast - except in the latter, in the first loopy thing, you sort of nearly fall out - I nearly fell out so I tried to save myself and in the process, I smashed my ribs on the middle thing and all day whenever i coughed or laughed, my side hurt - nonetheless, I went on it another 4 times. Ahhh, after going on them, the Thunderbolt at Dreamworld just makes me cringe!!!! (Although they HAVE finished and opened the Cyclone rollercoaster). They also had a Giant Drop-sque "Space Probe" which is scarier than the Giant Drop. It was a pretty cool day, apart from the bird that pissed on me. When we went into the city on Thursday night, I met this guy that owned a bookshop that liked Elvis. It was like a 2nd hand book and cd store or sometime and I was like, "Do you have any books on Elvis?" and he was like, "No, actually I think we're sold out". and I turn to my friends and say "See, I told Elvis was cool!". and the guy's like "You should go against the crowd!" and stuff. he was really cool. and as I was leaving he said, "Elvis is the king!" or "Elvis will always be the king!" or something similar and I just laughed and grinned and gave him the thumbs up. ahhh, Elvis! I thought about telling him about our Lipsync and Phil dressing up as Elvis, but I decided not to, as it was probably too long of a story to tell!:) But it will always be a damn fine memory!
SONG OF THE MOMENT - "Flower" - Jewel, "Drive" - Incubus.
as from this moment (8.38pm), i've just decided to add a bit to the 'quote of the week' and have 'person of the week' or something. right now it's MAN OF THE MOMENT - Joaquin Phoenix, Arnaud Clement, GIRL OF THE MOMENT - Liv Tyler, Virginie Rozzano.
P.S - DO NOT ask me about the final episode of THE AMAZING RACE, because I fell asleep!
(I'm predicting Rob and Brennan, but my brain tells me it's probably Frank and Margerita!).
Date: Tuesday 1st January 2002 - 7.09am
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!
1985, this is OUR YEAR!!!!
Song of the moment - "Unchained Melody".
Date: Monday 31st December 2001 - 12.17pm
Hey, it's the very last day of *2001* (so I'd better make this goooooood!). Hmmmm....it's been a pretty good year overall. Heaps of good stuff. I can't really think of anything to write though...it's really, really stuffy and humid up here in my room, so I guess I'll write something some other time. <12.25pm>.
Date: Friday 21st December 2001 - 11.44pm
Ah, the year has taken on a strange twist! Things are just getting way too weird!
I spent today at Garden City doing some major hardcore Christmas shopping!! One thing though, I got a "Beatles" shirt! Hehehe, it may not be Elvis, but damn I love "Can't Buy Me Love"! The Bee Gees are really cool too, I heard heaps of their songs today - ...and I don't wanna be alone.... Right now I'm listening to "Unchained Melody", which by the way, "Gerry and the Pacemakers" also sing. It's like my favourite song practically - and the really cool thing is that heaps of people have covered it - so far I've found versions by Elvis Presley, the Righteous Brothers, the Everly Brothers and LeAnn Rimes...the original? I don't know!
Argh! Guess what??? BRANDON GOT VOTED OFF SURVIVOR 3! Ah, I was pretty disappointed cos I was starting to get a soft spot for Brandon. I mean c'mon - his luxury item was lipgloss stuff:). ahh...I think I kinda miss him. Oh well, he'll be on the jury anyway....ah, it was so funny when he got partnered together with his 'public enemy number one' Frank...Brandon goes, "..and Brandon and Frank" in this sarcastic "how the hell did THIS happen!?" type of tone...and big Tom was just cacking himself saying "Let the games begin!". It was sooooo funnny!!!! And the best part - BRANDON AND FRANK WON THE REWARD CHALLENGE! Brandon rocks! Except for the voting Kelly off part (I liked her too!), but oh well, we all make our mistakes and Brandon was just playing the game strategically, because let's not deny it - Lex rocks the joint in Survivor: Africa! He does, he really does. Poor Brandon - in the last episode's tribal council, everyone except Lex turned on him and gave him the boot. Good thing too (about LEX) cos I'd go and kick his ass if he backstabbed Brandon. ahhh...
anyway, what else's been up? the last 'amazing race' episode was absolutely HILARIOUS. in one of the things, you had to play ping pong in China against one of the local champions. Brennan played first against like a 10/11 year old boy. and the score was 11 - 0 before they finally got one. oh - the aim is to get 5 points to get to the next round thingy and get your little envelope (yellow). Rob played too a bit despite his injured hand from rockclimbing in the last episode and he did pretty good and his backhands were totally rocking the court and winning the points. My boys finally went to the next bit of the game with the score at 24 - 5 to the local. hehehe. none the less....another part was to shop in China and buy like 5 bugs, 2 chicken feet, squid stuff etc etc and then get it cooked and eat it. But only one person could eat it and that was Brennan...I could tell Rob was absolutely starving! The fraternity brothers ___ and ____ got eliminated and the three left in order from first to last to arrive are : 1. Frank and Margerita 2. Rob and Brennan 3. Team Guido. ahh, the amazing race is so cool!
Oh guess what? An important point. I just thought of something! Guess what? I thought 2001 was my last year in the babe lockerroom, but I'm back there next year and it seems (I predict) I have a pretty good locker:) Ahhh BABE LOCKERROOM! It's my favourite.
SONG OF THE MOMENT - "Unchained Melody" - Everly Brothers, All BEE GEES, "Paid My Dues" - Anastacia....plaques avail at Sanity (Rob and Elvis) - my two faves of all time!!!
Date: Tuesday 18th December 2001 - 9.55pm
I talked to Maria and Ay tonight for a little while on the phone which is totally cool. And Maria's going to New Zealand tomorrow! And I'm probably going to see Ay on Friday and Saturday! And I heard Jewel's "Standing Still" - well the sort of endish bit anyway - on the radio for the first time - it was on 96.5FM which is what the radio was tuned to and it was like quarter to ten or something (9.45pm) and it was like number one on the top nine at nine or something. Super cool. And the totally hip disc jockey was crazy about Jewel as well - he even said that people in a chatroom were saying that he rigged it and if six weeks from now Jewel was still number one.... cool I taped it! And the totally hip thing is that I was watching my ROCK LIVE 2 video today and I was watching her rock and strut her stuff on the Today Show and Rove when she was out here in October sometime - totally cool. Jewel kicks ass! I'm just listening to 100% Hits of '97 and waiting for 10.30pm when THE AMAZING RACE starts! Go my babes Rob and Brennan!!!! - I've been rooting for them since the start! (I'm just listening to Hanson at the moment - ahhh, memories...). Same with Mister ETHAN ZOHN!!! on Survivor! Last Wednesday (12th) - my last entry - HE TOTALLY KICKED ASS ON SURVIVOR and won BOTH reward and immunity challenges - athletically, humbly, hottingly and best of all - sweetly! On the reward he got to go out to town and banter for stuff and he even took the shirt off his own back and this is the best part - he even took time out to play hackey sack with the little local children and chucked it to one of them before he left - ahhh Ethan - the hackey sack was his luxury item too!:) Sweet!:)
Exercise Club was on today again, but this time me, Eleisha and Dannii went to Cold Rock to see Phil and stuff - it was pretty cool and they had a totally cool jukebox and I put in "Smooth" one of my fave songs by Rob and Santana as well as "Can't Buy Me Love" - Beatles, and "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) by Mariah Carey and it was so weird cos Hanson sing it too. It was all great except for when we got kicked out of the store (not literally - we were asked to leave).
SONG OF THE MOMENT - "Unchained Melody" - The Righteous Brothers, "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) - Mariah Carey, "Smooth" - Rob and Santana (saw it on the Grammys 2000 today also on video), "Standing Still" - Jewel, "Not Pretty Enough" - Kasey Chambers (+ Keith Urban), "Paid My Dues" - Anastacia...lovin' Anastacia!!! Do your groove girl!! (so many songs - must be the holidays jitters....)....:)
Date: Wednesday 12th December 2001 - 8.49am
Whoa, the year is just flying by! And what a hell of a year it's been!! Our exercise club - established on Sunday 9th Dec, is going well and that's where I'll be at about 10 or 11am. Anyway, we've been on holidays for about a week, but it feels like sooo much longer! Michael's 16th was last night and I went and stuff. It was pretty good and the spa was so cool! Um...I watched this "Hallmark Hall of Fame" movie on Friday night called "Second Chance" and I thought it was really good and sweet and stuff and there's this one line that sticks out in my head - actually I wrote it down as well - "MARVELS OF THE UNIVERSE LIE AHEAD". I can't remember which scene it's from, but I think that's what the mother says to her daughter about her future. I think it's so sweet. And true. "Unchained Melody" is THE best song ever. Pink's "Get the Party Started" is pretty good too.
SONG OF THE MOMENt - "Unchained Melody" - Elvis Presley, "Get The Party Started" = Pink.
Date: Tuesday 4th December 2001 - 10.04pm
Ah, I have just come back from Redeemer Lutheran College's closing service. Today, the Year 11 year has come to an end. Ahh. OH wow, Aaron just rang me so now I'm coming over to his party thingy tomorrow morning, which is pretty cool cos I WAS NOT allowed to sleep over tonight - but that's okay. (it's now 10.16pm). I was just looking over last year's yearbook and reminiscing! Anyway, today was my last day of Year 11 and probably being in the babe lockerroom. Sigh. it's sad huh? Right now I'm actually listening to the stuff I recorded at the Closing Service for fun. Anyway, I got my remaining results - which were Film and Television and Biology. I managed to (probably) JUST SCRAPE BY in Film with a HA and I passed with totally dull colours in Biol. Yey, thank goodness for the dropping of biol. Anyway, Ms Darker got her Britney Spears card and Ms Macregeorgos got her gift. Aside from a slight kafuffle in Film and Television, the day seemed pretty good, but also pretty weird and strange. Teachers were cool and laidback and students just wandered around aimlessly most of time. We watched this strange, but funny "Bridget Jones' Diary" type of English flick movie called "Educating Rita" in Ancient. It has explicit language, but apparently was found in the library. I sent my books to be sold - goodbye biology texts! Yippee and woohoo! I wrote my little mentor people little cards and got free delivery by the middle school office. hehehe coool. I can't wait for the Mentor Outing on Thursday! YEs, anyway, closing service was good. apparently according to 'power of the buttocks' aka Pinky and 'teacher pervert' aka Miss Pink, old hunk of burnin love flame Rupert was present. Hmmm....interesting, but wonderful all the same. I didn't see though. (Near them). Damn. Chorale sung "Shout" and "Hallelujah Chorus" again like on the night of Carols by Candlelight...guess what? they played spin the bottle at Danniis!;). That Chapel Group never ceases to amaze me! Ever. By the way, I forgot to mention it, but on Friday Night after Carols By Candlelight, I was climbing over the fence near 2000's "Friendship Hill" to 'assist' in the moving of those long stucktogether plastic chairs. All of a sudden I sort of slip and my new denim skirt which i wore for the first time that day, ripped a bit down the side. I don't want to tell Mum, so I'm gonna sort of leave it there - I'm wearing it to the Mentor Outing!
Note to Diana - when you were singing the School Hymn - In the Name of Our Redeemer - idiotically in that stupid voice.... - I was recording! hehehe...:)
SONG OF THE MOMENT - "Hallelujah", "Shout", - Chorale, "Standing Still" - Jewel, "Unchained Melody" - Elvis Presley.
Date: Monday 3rd December 2001 - 7.26pm
Oh wow, it's been like, almost one whole week since I wrote last. And that's pretty slack considering my exams had finished - so I'll just tell you what happened day by day by day...
Wed 28 Nov - Diana's Surprise Party - turned out well except the guest of honour wasn't present! That's okay though cos we had a blast! It was a pretty fun day. I bought this new 3/4 denim skirt that was all frayed and stuff for my party outfit. I'm planning to just buy one new outfit and wear it to all the different parties and stuff this summer. It's a cool skirt - I love it. And it's SO DAMN COWGIRL!
We also went to see "The Others" which is so damn freaky and stuff. But it's good. I was totally studying Nicole Kidman's acting style the whole time - damn she's a great actor!! It's fab and really freaky - that's the word to describe it. It's a LITTLE predictable and "Sixth Sense"-ish though. I sat next to Dannii and Aaron and screamed in their ears, unintentionally of course, when I screamed my head off during a freaky scary, super frightening scene. Damn. and somehow I dropped my new little "buddy" Chip that I got from Maccas (I had to eat a WHOLE happy meal just to get him!) and he ended up in the row behind us - sorry buddy. It's was like, just us, and two other people in the movies so that was pretty cool. But we kept getting yelled at for putting our feet up on the chairs and stuff by the usher/s that kept coming in! After the movies we jumped all over the seats and Phil and James smashed or knocked over actual film rolls or something. After wreaking havoc and finding Chip my little buddy, Danielle realised she lost her bag with her hairdye in it. It turned out to be at the far end of the row. And she was sitting second. How weird. We figured out that the mysterious travel of Chip and the hairdye MUST BE the result of "The Others". Case closed.
Thurs 29 Nov - Leadership Day One/Mentor Group Meeting - Today was the first day of leadership. Mrs Charles, Mr Kelly, Ms Darker and Ms Freiberg all gave fantastic speeches and advice and stuff. About leading, setting an example, dealing with stress etc. We also met our little mentorees in the first period. I have a pretty cool group and we're going out to Garbo on Thursday. So that's cool. I don't remember me acting like them in Year 8 though I must admit. I love being a mentor though and I remember Hayley and Scott fondly from my mentored days.
Fri 30 Nov - Leadership Day Two/Free Dress Day For Year 11s - This day was totally cool. I wore my Lipsynch "Superstar" top and that denim skirt. We got lectured by a guy called "Bruce". I can't remember his last name, but Dinu kept calling him "Bruce Samazan" (the guy from E-Street) and that sort of stuck. I found out today from Ms Darker that he drives a silver porch - wow - and he commented about the cleavage of girls in the front row!). He was totally fun and interesting and totally NOT BORING! He was pretty cool and especially hip for a 36 or so year old. Also on Friday night, I went to Carols By Candlelight held at Redeemer Lutheran College. The Chorale sung "Shout" and "Hallelujah Chorus" and that was cool except I didn't know we were singing the latter til we had to get up.
Sat 1 Dec - Party of All Parties Night - This day I went to the coast, but got back in time for the parties of all parties night. Both Rachel McCullough and Danielle Palmer were being thrown killer Surprise Birthday Parties this night. I ended up going to Rachel's, and arriving 2 minutes after the birthday girl did! Ooops:)! It's was pretty cool and they had a TOTALLY KICK ASS jukebox that Rachel's mum hired - DAMN I WANT ONE SO BAD NOW! They also had "Survivor Sticks" by the Pool I noticed and that was cool. And there were all these cool helium balloons everywhere = which tempted people to do the funny but sick, high pitched voice thing!
TODAY - Second last day of being Grade 11, second last day of the babe lockerroom, Damn. Nothing too exciting happened today except we got our marks back. I got pretty good marks so far - I'll be screwed for Biol for sure when I get it tommorrow. I got alright in stuff. I finally found the Biol Library Text that has had me heartattacking the whole weekend. Yipppee! Okay have to go now cs it's 7.58pm and I have a million cards to make and sign. ! Seeya.
SONG OF THE MOMENT - Hallelujah Chorus, Shout, Unchained Melody - Elvis Presley, Standing Still - Jewel - Damn, Dannii got it for her birthday.
NOTE: "STREET" press, not stress - must be the stress of the moment that possessed me to write that~:)
Date: Wednesday 28th November 2001 -- 7.10am
Woohoo! EXAMS ARE FINALLY FINISHED...for me! "Smart's People's Day" aka Today is the final day of exams for ALL year 11s. Today's stuff like IPT and Maths C and German etc etc. After getting off the Super tough Maths A test, we went back to Dannii's house and then we spent the afternoon walking about 12 kilometres or something to the dog park and duck pond and parfrey road shops and etc etc. Today's is Diana's Birthday and we're doing this surprise lunch thingy. Everybody else is meeting at 12.00pm at the food court. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DIANA! (Of course I won't put this up until AFTER today). You would not believe how relieved I am that exams are over! It's so weird cos I never feel this way after exams normally and it wasn't like i had a truckload of exams - I had 3 (Biology, Legal Studies and Maths A) and a few assignments (English, Ancient History, Film and TV). Hey guess what? I was reading stress press mags last night and I was reading Time Off I think = and I came across another review for Heather Nova's "South". (the same album I reviewed) and the writer also compared her to Jewel....!!:) Lindsey got voted off Survivor by the way - Damn I liked her!
SONG OF THE MOMENT - "Unchained Melody" - Elvis Presley, "Grease Lightning" - John Travolta.

Ahh, today. Firstly me and Diana have made a new website in our double of Ancient. We even updated it a bit and put in a couple of paragraphs. I can't believe how fast the school internet service can be sometimes. Dinu set up our account with verbal help from me, from her computer and I logged in and updated each page with mine. The site address is www.cdhouse.4t.com and it's pretty good so far all things considered. I have to remember to bring Diana some photos and pictures tomorrow for her to scan so we can put them up.
This radio poetry English thing is killing me. I have just chosen my 2 poems in the double in the library we had in Ancient. They are "I Was Only 19" (that Red Gum war song) and "Anthem For Doomed Youth". Ahhh. I'm so stressed too.
The school is so deserted and it will be even more when exam block for the Year 11s begin tomorrow. I don't have any exams until Friday (Biology), but I have to come in tomorrow to hand in my English and probably on Thursday to BEGIN editing my portion for the film and I'll probably have to stay back on Friday until about 5.30pm for that reason also. Damn.
Today was pretty much an average day, except I had to start and finish my biol in 1 period. Besides that, yeah, it's pretty much the same...my last 'proper' biol lesson was today!!! Woohoo!!! No more biology!
I'm so sick about hearing about schoolies and arguing about schoolies arrangements and stuff that I can't believe I'm talking about it here - I don't really care anymore anyway.
TOMORROW - From 8.30 - 10.00pm on ABC is an Elvis "Greatest Performances" special. It's on at the same time as Survivor. Hmmm, what should I pick - ELVIS PRESLEY DUH! I'll have to tape Survivor though OF COURSE! I watched a bit of the last episode today - Silas is such a schemer, such a charismatic schemer though...unfortunately. During Ancient today, I was printing off all these Jewel lyrics off of her new album. I haven't even heard the songs yet but I really love jewel lyrics so I printed them off anyway. I'm on like - \\$12.35 bucks negative or something cos I keep printing off of the colour printer instead of the normal one. I'm such an idiot sometimes.
SONG OF THE MOMENT - "Would You Be Happier" - The Corrs, "Burning Love" - Elvis Presley, "Grease Mega Mix" - Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta.
